Dancing Under the Rain
As part of the Rains Autumn-Winter 2024 collection, the brand has taken over the Homme atrium and several display windows at Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann. Commissioned by Rains and Matière Noire, we designed and engineered an entire ecosytems with rain and robot bridging narration and technology in a ballet fluid movements and poetic expressions.
One of the most exciting aspects of the project was overcoming the challenge of combining water and electronics.

As part of the Rains automn-Winter 2024 colllection, Rains has taken over the Homme atrium and several display windows at Galerie Lafayette Paris Hausmann. Rains offer an impresssive experience, blending fashion, technology and design to captivate the audience. Commissioned by Rains and in collaboration with Matière Noire, our mission was to design two exclusive installations for the Galeries Laffayette windows, reflecting Rains’ new creative direction for its futur collections. One of the most existing aspect of the project was overmoning the challenge of combining water and electronics. Our centrepiece was a windows inside a windows featuring controlled and timed rainfall and an inetractive robot playing around the brand logo.
In the heart of the Galerie Lafayette we created a ballet perfomed by a brutalist but sensible robot operating is duty of wiping the windows to clear droplets from Rains logo under a continuous never ending rain. This truly exclusive experience aimed to blend limit between fashion, technology and design in a captivating moment of peaceful yet fascinating dance under the rain.
