For a special Chanel activation, we created an immersive interview experience inspired by the design of tape recorders. The setup featured two screens displaying promotional campaign videos, while a series of questions were posed to customers. Based on their responses, a results table determined which of the various J12 watch models best suited each participant.

Designing an intuitive question-answer system to match customers with the ideal J12 model.

Designed as an interactive experience, this installation invited guests to embark on a personalized journey to discover their ideal J12 watch model. Two screens played Chanel’s campaign videos, while rotating tape reels reinforced the immersive atmosphere, evoking the mechanics of classic recording devices. Carefully selected buttons enhanced the tactile experience, allowing seamless interaction with the system.
Surrounding the tape recorder, custom-designed LED boxes displayed pixelated text animations, serving as a scenographic element that attracted visitors and encouraged them to engage with the installation.
The challenge was to integrate mechanical and digital elements flawlessly, ensuring perfect synchronization between the videos and the questionnaire. A custom-designed system processed participants’ responses in real time, analyzing their answers to determine which J12 model best suited their style. Through this engaging and personalized experience, guests formed a unique connection with Chanel’s iconic watch collection.
